Our visit at the VIS
On Thursday 25th January, our English class went to the Vienna International School to visit Mr.
Oudart’s class which we already met a few months ago.
We left from school at 9:30 am and took the bus and the underground to Kagran.
When we arrived to the VIS, we went to Mr. Oudart’s class. We were divided into groups of
three Lycée pupils who were joined by two VIS pupils. In these groups they guided us through the
building, showed us the library, the sports fields, the music and the art rooms, the science laboratories and
finally the school kitchen. I was really surprised by the huge range of facilities and activities available at this school in comparison with a lack of facility space at our school.
Afterwards, we went back to the classroom and ate a cake called “galettes des rois” aka a king’s
cake.
At the end of our visit, we sat together in the same groups and made a quiz about famous
characters. I chose my idol Michael Phelps and Hawi found it out after having asked me a few questions about my character.
The visit to the VIS was a very nice experience because I got to know nice persons and I was
impressed of the dimension and the facilities of this school like for example the five sports fields.
To put it in a nutshell, it was an interesting and entertaining morning.
