5° : CREATIVE WRITING - SCARY STORIES
He closed the door. But behind him, he heard some heavy steps in the darkness. „Boom, boom, boom“. His toes were frozen, it became that cold . Somehow he slowly turned around and saw a shadow but nobody. He was terrorised and totally helpless. Suddenly the leaves from the big old oak in the garden were moving as if there were some strong wind , yet ...there was no wind.
Alex and Matt were frozen, totally shocked. The two boys were watching a horror movie while being alone at home because Matt’s parents went to the restaurant. The movie continued- on the one hand, Alex and Matt were very afraid and felt frightened, on the other hand they wanted to know what was going to happen . There were so many different ways how the movie could end: The boy could be killed, or he could kill the child abuser. There could be a big fight, or just a knife stich. There could be many screams, or the total silence. There could be a happy end, or death...
Alex thought he had seen a shadowy figure sneaking through the garden to the window, yet he didn’t say anything because he thought/believed the movie might be making him paranoid. He continued watching te film, when he saw in the corner of his eye a face looking through the window. He carefully turned his head to see, if there was anybody. Matt noticed it and asked Alex „Who is there outside?“
Alex saw the similarity between the unclear and the child abuser from the movie. The person was approaching purposely...
Suddenly the door jolted like the tree vibrated in the movie. The room became cold. The boys felt like Marc and Julian in the film. They were in a horrible situation. What should they do?
They heard heavy steps behind the door. The unknown smashed the door. They escaped in the bathroom and locked the door. Unfortunately they couldn’t hold up the unknown more than one minute to enter the room.
They wanted to escape of this nightmare!
Matt stumbled upon about the bathtub and hit his head on the wall. Alex had to go, even without his best friend. He didn’t like the idea, but now he had to think of himself. Yet he had no chance against the child abuser: the latter stabbed the poor Alex who was struggling desperately for his life, He felt terrorised and totally helpless. He was screaming while the murderer kept stabbing him relentlessly. Alex slowly collapsed, his blood running down. He was gone...
